Voted Best Architectural Firm To Work For since 2018, Taylor Design, a 100% employee-owned company, is looking for Project Managers to join our healthcare studio in our Orange County office. This is your opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, creative and fun architects and designers on award winning healthcare projects.

 

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful completion of one or more projects, managing the contracted scope, schedule, and budget at all phases of the project(s) from pre-design through construction administration. The Project Manager should be capable and experienced, with authority to speak with the Client on behalf of Taylor Design and to direct and expedite the work.


Successful candidates will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or equivalent education in an AEC related field.
  • Have a minimum of 8 years’ experience, with a focus on healthcare.
  • Be experienced in project budget, managing contracts, and monitoring financial progress.
  • Participate in firm-wide resource allocation planning and forecasting.
  • Have strong leadership and relationship-building skills, including the ability to recognize and successfully navigate client and agency challenges and/or issues.


They should be able to:

  • Use firm-wide tools and processes, establish a balanced approach for ensuring project profitability, complete and thorough technical deliverables, and the design goals of the project(s).
  • Provide leadership at the project level, interacting with clients, staff, and consultants.
  • Develop project budgets and timelines, manage proposals and contracts, monitor financial progress, perform monthly client billing and revenue projections with the accounting and contracts team.
  • Understand building systems and code/agency issues that may arise.
  • Participate in firm-wide resource allocation planning and forecasting.
  • Responsible for project quality control and following firm-wide standards.

Important Notes:

Pay Rate: $96,000 to $130,000/year 

Pay Comments: If you are hired at Taylor Design, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience, project complexity. and licensure and/or certifications. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
