Education and Experience Required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business law preferable, paralegal certification a plus
- 3 years of experience handling contracting in an AEC or professional services firm
- An aptitude and passion for business law, particularly in contracts and legal documentation
- Experience in customer service and exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Experience with an ERP accounting software for professional services, Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, BST, Unanet preferable
- Extremely detail-oriented and reliably on time, strong work ethic
- Well versed in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, DocuSign
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None. Works independently on tasks assigned in coordination with Contracts Manager and Chief Financial Officer. Some training/support responsibility coaching project team members on scope and fee proposals, project contracting and risk management policies and procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Working daily with project managers and Finance team to coordinate accurate, timely project contracting data
- Composing project fee proposals from project manager generated drafts, obtaining project manager approval and generating accurate final proposals which meet client-specific requirements
- Submitting final proposals and contracts via various methods including DocuSign
- Ensuring all project contracting data and documentation is processed in the firm’s ERP system and filed correctly and accurately in the firm’s network filing system
- Ensuring all firm policies and procedures are adhered to with regard to proposal and contract processing and risk management protocols
- Working closely with the Contracts Manager to support and continually improve the contract generation, review and approval process
- Interacting and communicating with clients regarding their contracts
Physical requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Present in office 2 days a week

Pay Rate: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00/year
Pay Comments: If you are hired at Taylor Design, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience, project complexity. and licensure and/or certifications. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
